Win in international arbitration
The team of arbitration practice of Lex Torre Law Office represented by the partner Alexandre Khrapoutski and advocate Maksim Zhukov won another arbitration case resolved by ICC Court of Arbitration.
Dispute related to the undue payment for consultancy services the counterparty from Poland and was resolved under the laws of Poland without involvement of local advisor on our side.
In the course of arbitration respondent raised numerous issues related to the validity of agreement, due owner of primary debt, limitation period and due providing of services by our Client.
All Respondent's arguments were dismissed. It allowed our Client to win more than 700 000 USD of the primary debt, default interest under the Polish law and arbitration costs.
